Wacker Neuson created a custom skid loader with a special stars and stripes wrapper with the goal to auction it off and donate the proceeds to Fisher House Wisconsin.    Fisher House Wisconsin was then invited to the annual dealer summit which was in Milwaukee this past October.

Bill Michaels from Fisher House Wisconsin’ Board of Directors and sports radio talk show host of The FAN on 105.7FM was honored to attend the event and was also the auctioneer!  Jennifer Kiefer, the Milwaukee VA Fisher House Manager attended as well.

The skid loader is valued at $67,000.  Bill started the bidding and before he knew it, AGF Machinery, LLC in Dothan, AL bid $111,000!!!!  AGF Machinery was 1 of more than 70 dealers that participated in the summit

“We are proud to be building these quality machines right here in the Milwaukee area, and find it very fitting to support the Fisher House that provides quality support to veterans who have proudly served our country,” said Johannes Schulze Vohren, North American regional president, Wacker Neuson.

The ST31, wrapped in the American flag, was used throughout the summer in Wisconsin to celebrate the machine’s local roots. It was on display at various industry shows and participated in the Menomonee Falls 4th of July parade, accompanied by many local employees responsible for its design and manufacturing.

AGF Machinery owner Jeff Washington said AGF would continue to use the machine to support veterans. “For the first few months, the loader will be displayed at our store locations,” he said. “We will eventually make it available to rent, at which time, a portion of the rental fee will go to support our veteran services here in the Wiregrass region.”

Thank you to Wacker Neuson and AGF Machinery, LLC!!!!
